Natural-looking brows after a microblading session at Tina Beauté in Mulhouse

Microblading helps create harmonious and natural-looking eyebrows using a very fine semi-permanent tattoo technique.

Before booking your appointment, it is important to understand how the session works, what the healing stages are, and in which situations the treatment may not be recommended.

At Tina Beauté, every session is fully personalized and carried out with the utmost respect for your skin and facial features.

1. How Does a Microblading Session Work?

🔹 Step 1: Consultation

Everything begins with a discussion to understand your facial structure, personal style and desired result.

We analyze:

  • your face shape,

  • eyebrow symmetry,

  • and choose together the shade best suited to your skin tone and hair color.

🔹 Step 2: Brow Mapping & Validation

Before any pigmentation, a pencil outline is drawn.

You can visualize the final result and make adjustments with my guidance.

Nothing is left to chance: every stroke is carefully designed to balance and enhance your eyes.

🔹 Step 3: The Microblading Procedure

Using a manual pen equipped with micro-needles, pigments are deposited into the superficial layer of the skin to imitate the natural appearance of eyebrow hairs.

The session lasts approximately 1h30 to 2 hours, and the sensation is generally described as light scratching or tiny pinching sensations.

🔹 Step 4: The Touch-Up Appointment (4 Weeks Later)

This step is essential to ensure long-lasting results.

It allows certain areas to be intensified and helps achieve perfectly even color retention.

2. The Healing Stages After Microblading

Microblading is not finished once you leave the studio.

The healing process lasts approximately 4 weeks and follows a precise cycle.

📅 Days 1 to 3: Dark Brows & Slight Redness

The result appears darker than expected — this is completely normal.

The skin may also feel slightly sensitive.

👉 Avoid water, makeup and direct contact with the eyebrows.

📅 Days 4 to 7: Small Scabs Appear

The skin regenerates and releases excess pigment.

⚠️ Do not scratch or rub the area, as this may remove pigment and affect the final result.

📅 Days 8 to 14: The Fading Phase

The eyebrows may suddenly appear much lighter or seem to “disappear.”

This stage can feel frustrating, but it is completely normal. The skin is closing and the pigment gradually resurfaces afterward.

📅 Weeks 3 to 4: Pigment Stabilization

The color settles into a softer, more natural and even result.

At this stage, the touch-up appointment (included in the treatment) can be scheduled to perfect the final outcome.

Healing Stages After Microblading

3. Recommended Aftercare at Home

For optimal healing:

  • Avoid heat sources (sauna, steam room, sun exposure) for 10 days.

  • Do not apply makeup on the eyebrows until fully healed.

  • Apply a healing cream in a thin layer if needed.

  • Sleep on your back during the first few days to avoid friction.

4. When Is Microblading Not Recommended?

Microblading is a gentle technique but it is not suitable for every skin type or situation.

It is generally not recommended for:

  • very oily skin (poor pigment retention),

  • very thin skin or skin prone to keloid scarring,

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding,

  • heavy medical treatments (blood thinners, cortisone, etc.),

  • active skin conditions in the area (eczema, psoriasis, wounds).

💡 If you are unsure, a simple consultation or a photo before the appointment can help determine whether the treatment is suitable for you.

Conclusion

Microblading is a combination of precision, hygiene and artistry.

When properly prepared and correctly maintained, it creates natural and expressive brows for many months.

At Tina Beauté, every stroke is performed with care to respect both your skin and your identity.

Not on the eyebrows until they are fully healed.

On the rest of the face, yes — but avoid heat, excessive sweating and exfoliating treatments for a few days.

Yes, as long as the skin is suitable for the procedure.

I redesign the brows in harmony with your face and natural brow line to achieve a natural, balanced and personalized result.

No, when performed correctly.

I work only on the superficial layer of the skin without affecting the hair root.
